flavours & friends, piccolo edition
by TDD Bon Appétit
The dinner club collective TDD was founded in 2007 by Gülsüm Güler and İnci Güler. TDD events usually took place in temporary spaces, for example in studios, where a restaurant atmosphere was created for the duration of the event. All team members were artists working in the fields of photography, education, graphic design and visual arts, united by a passion for food and the creation of public and interdisciplinary dialogues.
The publication flavours & friends – containing 108 recipes for 40 people each – was first self-published by TDD Bon Appétit and reprinted in 2025 by BOM DIA BOA TARDE BOA NOITE in a third, smaller piccolo edition. The publication is a tribute to creating communities and cooking together. Based on the recipes, the book returns chronologically to the 27 dinner locations from 15 years of supper-clubbing and at the same time documents the displacement of artistic practice in urban space.
