Can we read an archeological site through chance operations? A different idea of time would likely evolve from this methodology. On one hand, there is an attempt to record traces from the past in order to build up a coherent picture. On the other hand, we have a more schizophrenic way of dealing with memory, acknowledging ghosts, double visions, and multiple versions of history.
